New Student Schedule • Student Enroll Date and Transaction Date must match. • Look up the students Enroll date.
All original courses in the student’s schedule must have transaction dates the same as their enroll date.
Schedule Changes • All schedule changes must have the course listed before it can be dropped. • If a course is added it must be added the day following the drop. They cannot be the same dates. • Do not use dates that are weekends, holidays or summer vacation.
ADA/ADM REPORT • This report shows the student’s Standard Day, Schedule Day, Days Present, ADA and ADM. • The student’s Standard Day should match the Schedule Day with some exceptions.
Scheduled Day is LESS than the Standard Day if…. • The student is enrolled less than 100% of the day as in the following scenarios. • The student is homeschooled part of the day. • A middle school student attends classes at the high school part of the day. • IEP student • Principal dispensation
Scheduled Day MORE than Standard Day • If the Schedule Day is more than the Standard Day there is a problem with the transactions. • Go back to the student’s transactions and correct the dates.
Correcting Drop and Add Transactions • Quick print the schedule • Go to the Transactions- ( Current Scheduling) • Edit the drop and add dates to separate dates if they have the same date. Same dates will cancel each other. • Transactions must reflect the exact movement of the student. Where they physically were on what day. • Drops create a transaction. • Delete does not create a transaction.
Steps to correct a schedule without original transactions • On the Schedule screen drop the courses as of the previous day. Example: Enroll date is 8/02/13 so you would drop them as of 8/01/2013. • On the Schedule screen activate the courses as of the Enroll date. Enroll date is 8/02/13 so you would activate them as of 8/02/13. • On the transactions screen one at a time highlight the dropped courses dated 8/01/13 and delete them. • If the student has enrolled, withdrawn and then returned watch for those dates and edit accordingly. Accurate transactions correlate with the entry/withdrawal records.
