Attendance • Children are expected to have attendance of 95% or above. • Holidays in term time are not authorised unless there are very exceptional circumstances. Fines will be issued for holidays taken in term time. • Families of children who are frequently absent from school may receive a penalty fine. • Children who arrive to school after 9.25 a.m. will be recoded in the register as an unauthorised absence. This may lead to a penalty fine if repeated regularly.
Attendance It is very important that your children come to school every day. However, if children are unwell please ring the school office and leave a message with details of your child’s absence. Please endeavour to be on time. If your child is late after the register closes, you risk incurring a penalty notice fine from the local authority.
Holidays Holidays may be authorised in exceptional circumstances. Please write to the Headteacher. Unauthorised holidays may incur a penalty notice fine from the local authority. It is very important that we have numbers and addresses for all parent/carers and would kindly ask that you keep the school updated should any parent/carer have a change of details. Details
