MechanicalAdvantage • The relationshipbetween the force produced by a machine (the load force) and the force applied to the machine (effort force) in order to lift or move an object.

Example • You exert 500 N of force on a branch to try to lift a truck out of the mud. The truck exerts a force of 2500 N. Calculate the mechanicaladvantage of the lever.
