5. Common noun • These are the names of persons, things, and places in general. Examples: book, friend, actress, bag • The book is under the table. • My friend is in our house today. • My favorite actress is Beyonce. • I like your bag.

12. Abstract noun • Names of ideas, feelings, qualities and emotions. They refer to matters that don’t exist in the physical world, but known through the effects they create.
