Aims and ObjectivesTo help schools: • Develop their own models of SBM • Institutionalize a self-evaluation framework • Acquire the skills and techniques of self- evaluation • Develop a set of school-based indicators • Cultivate a climate of educational change • Foster a culture of organizational learning 6

Targets and BeneficiariesThe project will benefit the participating schools as: • Schools--be more effective and to improve continuously • School administrators’ and teachers’--be competent, confident and professional • To improve teaching and learning • More accountable to parents and the wider community 7
