Saleh PBUH. صالح عليه السلام. الحجر. Saleh عليه السلام صالح. And verily, the dwellers of Al-Hijr (the rocky tract) denied the Messengers. And We gave them Our Signs, but they were averse to them. And they used to hew out dwellings from the mountains (feeling themselves) secure. Al-Hijr.

  2. الحجر Salehعليه السلامصالح And verily, the dwellers of Al-Hijr (the rocky tract) denied the Messengers.And We gave them Our Signs, but they were averse to them.And they used to hew out dwellings from the mountains (feeling themselves) secure.

  4. الأعراف Salehعليه السلامصالح And remember when He made you successors after ‘Ad (people) and gave you habitations in the land, you build for yourselves palaces in plains, and carve out homes in the mountains. So remember the graces (bestowed upon you) from Allah, and do not go about making mischief on the earth."

  5. هود Salehعليه السلامصالح The Messenger: Call to Allah And to Thamud (people We sent) their brother Saleh. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah: you have no other god but Him. He brought you forth from the earth and settled you therein, then ask forgiveness of Him and turn to Him in repentance. Certainly, my Lord is Near (to all by His Knowledge), Responsive."They said: "O Saleh! You have been among us as a figure of good hope (and we wished for you to be our chief) till this! Do you (now) forbid us the worship of what our fathers have worshipped? But we are really in grave doubt as to that to which you invite us."

  6. هود Salehعليه السلامصالح The Messenger: Call to Allah And to Thamud (people We sent) their brother Saleh. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah: you have no other god but Him. He brought you forth from the earth and settled you therein, then ask forgiveness of Him and turn to Him in repentance. Certainly, my Lord is Near (to all by His Knowledge), Responsive."They said: "O Saleh! You have been among us as a figure of good hope (and we wished for you to be our chief) till this!   7. الشعراء Salehعليه السلامصالح The Messenger: Call to Allah Thamud belied the Messengers. When their brother Saleh said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message); my reward is only from the Lord of the ًWorlds "Will you be left secure in that which you have here? "In gardens and springs. And green crops (fields) and date-palms with soft spadix."And you hew out in the mountains, houses with great skill. "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. "And follow not the command of the extravagant [i.e. their chiefs], "Who make mischief in the land, and reform not."

  8. الشعراء Salehعليه السلامصالح The Messenger: Call to Allah Thamud belied the Messengers. When their brother Saleh said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him?   11. الأعراف Salehعليه السلامصالح The Response of Thamud The leaders of those who were arrogant among his people said to those who were considered powerless amongst them as they believed: "Know you that Saleh is the one sent from his Lord?" They said: "We indeed believe in that with which he has been sent."Those who were arrogant said: "Verily, we disbelieve in that which you believe in."

  12. هود Salehعليه السلامصالح The Response of Thamud They said: "O Saleh! You have been among us as a figure of good hope (and we wished for you to be our chief) till this! Do you (now) forbid us the worship of what our fathers have worshipped? But we are really in grave doubt as to that to which you invite us." He said: "O my people! Tell me, if I have a clear proof from my Lord, and there has come to me a Mercy from Him, who then can help me against Allah, if I were to disobey Him? Then you increase me not but in loss.

  13. الشعراء Salehعليه السلامصالح The Response of Thamud Requesting the Miracle They said: "You are only of thosebewitched!"You are but a human being like us. Then bring us a sign if you are of the truthful."

  14. هود Salehعليه السلامصالح The Sign: The She-Camel "And O my people! This she-camel of Allah is a sign to you, so leave her to feed (graze) in Allah's land, and touch her not with harm, lest a near torment should seize you."

  15. القمر Salehعليه السلامصالح The Test Thamud belied the warnings.And they said: "A man, alone among us - shall we follow him? Truly then we should be in error and distress (or madness)!" "Is it that the Reminder is sent to him (Saleh) alone from among us? Nay, he is an insolent liar!"Tomorrow they will come to know who is the liar, the insolent one!Verily, We are sending the she-camel as a test for them. So watch them and be patient! And inform them that the water is to be shared between(her and) them, each one’s right to drink being established (by turns).

  16. النمل Salehعليه السلامصالح The Test And they belied (and rejected) the signs (the truth) wrongfully and arrogantly, though their own selves were convinced thereof. So see what was the end of the Evil-doers

  17. الإسراء Salehعليه السلامصالح And they say: "We shall not believe in you until you cause a spring to gush forth from the earth for us; "Or you have a garden of date-palms and grapes, and cause rivers to gush forth in their midst abundantly; "Or you cause the heaven to fall upon us in pieces, as you have pretended, or you bring Allah and the angels before (us) face to face;" Or you have a house of adorned with gold ), or you ascend up into the sky, and even then we will put no faith in your ascension until you bring down for us a Book that we would read." Say "Glorified (and Exalted) be my Lord above all that evil they associate with Him! Am I anything but a man, sent as a Messenger?"

  18. الأعراف Salehعليه السلامصالح The Test And to Thamud (people, We sent) their brother Saleh. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other Godbut Him. Indeed there has come to you a clear sign from your Lord. This she-camel of Allah is a sign unto you; so you leave her to graze in Allah's earth, and touch her not with harm, lest a painful torment should seize you.

  19. النمل Salehعليه السلامصالح And indeed We sent to Thamud their brother Saleh, saying: "Worship Allah (Alone). Then look! They became two parties (believers and disbelievers) quarreling with each other."He said: "O my people! Why do you seek to hasten the evil (torment) before the good (Allah's Mercy)? Why seek you not the Forgiveness of Allah, that you may receive mercy?"They said: "We augur ill omen from you and those with you." He said: "Your ill omen is with Allah; nay, but you are a people that are being tested."And there were in the city nine men (from their chiefs), who made mischief in the land, and would not reform.They said: "Swear one to another by Allah that we shall make a secret night attack on him and his household, and thereafter we will surely say to his near relatives: ‘We witnessed not the destruction of his household, and verily we are telling the truth.’"So they plotted a plot, and We plotted a plot, while they perceived not.

  20. القمر Salehعليه السلامصالح But they called their comrade (friend) and he took (a sword) and killed (her).

  21. الأعراف Salehعليه السلامصالح So they killed the she-camel and insolently defied the Commandment of their Lord, and said: "O Saleh! Bring about your threats if you are indeed one of the Messengers (of Allah)."

  22. هود Salehعليه السلامصالح But they killed her. So he said: "Enjoy yourselves in your homes for three days. This is a promise (i.e. a threat) that will not be belied."

  23. الأعراف Salehعليه السلامصالح So the earthquake seized them, and they lay prostrate in their homes.

  24. فصلت Salehعليه السلامصالح And as for Thamud, We showed and made clear to them the Path of Truth, but they preferred blindness to guidance; so the Sâ‘iqah (a destructive awful cry, a thunderbolt, shocking torment) of disgracing torment seized them because of what they used to earn.

  25. هود Salehعليه السلامصالح So when Our Commandment came, We saved Saleh and those who believed with him by a Mercy from Us, and from the disgrace of that Day. Verily, your Lord - He is the All-Strong, the All-Mighty.And As-Saihah (torment - awful mighty cry) overtook the wrong-doers, so they lay (dead), prostrate in their homes As if they had never lived there. No doubt! Verily, Thamud disbelieved in their Lord. So away with Thamud!

  26. الأعراف Salehعليه السلامصالح Then he [Saleh] turned from them, and said: "O my people! I have indeed conveyed to you the Message of my Lord, and have given you good advice but you like not good advisers."

  27. الإسراء Salehعليه السلامصالح And nothing stops Us from sending the Ayat (proofs, evidence, signs) but that the people of old denied them. And We sent the she-camel to Thamud as a clear sign, but they did her wrong. And We sent not the signs except to warn, and to make them afraid (of destruction).

  28. هود So stand firm and straight (on the path of Islam) as you are commanded and those (your companions) who turn in repentance (unto Allah) with you, and transgress not (Allah's Limits). Verily, He is All-Seer of what you do.And incline not toward those who do wrong, lest the Fire should touch you, and you have no protectors other than Allah, nor you would then be helped.And perform As-Salat, at the two ends of the day and in some hours of the night. Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds (i.e. small sins). That is a reminder (an advice) for the mindful (those who accept advice).And be patient; verily, Allah wastes not the reward of the good-doers.
