Adjectives • Students will all receive a handout about Adjectives and an Adjectives Wheel 1 • Place the Adjectives handout in the Handout section of your binder • Place the Adjectives Wheel 1 in your reader’s notebook section of your binder • We will complete the Adjectives Wheel 1 together as a class. • You will complete the Adjectives Wheel 2 for homework

  4. “Looking for America” continued… • Students will be given time to complete the worksheet that goes with the story “Looking for America.” • After all students have completed the worksheet, we will go over the answers as a class. • Place these worksheets in your reader’s notebook section of your binder.

  5. Making Connections • Give each student a response starter • Listen as I go over with you how to put together your response starter to use during the reading.

  6. Making Connections-”The Lorax” *Listen as I read “The Lorax,” fill in your response starter as I read. • After the story is completed, each student will be given a worksheet titled “The Lorax.” • Students should complete the worksheet by answering questions about the story. • Place the worksheet in your reader’s notebook section of your binder.
