Facility Cost • Initial learning curve translates to higher initial costs • According to our limited sample, it appears that personnel trained in January or already using VISION grasped concepts more quickly
Network Time Spent • Facilities require more support time initially • Important to encourage use of CROWN helpdesk *NW 16 spent an additional 39 hours on Communications/Admin Tracking

Helpful Tips • Facility users should have some exposure to the following: • Electronic data entry via • Hands on training • WebEx • VISION ( or similar systems) • PART tool • Great “shortcut” to specific patient information • Some labs have created custom reports that mirror clinical data entry screens • Clinical data entry • Know date limitations • Have dates that will work • Update reports can help spot a System Discharge caused by event coming in via batch
