Reproduction and Young - Litter size : 2-4 kittens The mother raises the kittens on her own The kittens stay with the mother until they are 1½ - 2 yrs.
Life Cycle - Cougars can live for 8-13 yrs. in the wild Cougars can live up to 25 yrs. in captivity
Habitat and Range- They live in all forests They live in grasslands They also live in lowlands They live mostly in southern ontario
Diet- Cougars hunt their prey They eat deer, mice, squirrels, porcupines, raccoons, rabbits, and beavers
Behavior- Cougars are solitary animals They are very territorial and actively avoid other cats
