  2. In high school, encouraging the students in both academic and extra-curricular activities is a huge part for the student to express themselves in various activities. This extra-curriculum helps the students to enhance their social skills. Most of the student after studies will go to work, that time these skills will help them to face the adult world.   3. Teamwork Being part of any sports team or other activities in school or college, actually helps the student to interact with their office colleagues in the future in a respectful way. This is one of the important characteristics, the company expects from the job candidate to work as a team. 

  4. Goals Engaging insports activities helps your child to be more responsible for finishing their group as well as individual activities. This is an important way to learn the basics of goal building that is very much required for the workplace. Goals make the individual help them identify where they are at present and where they want to be in future.

  5. Responsibilities The responsible member of the team who is denoted as an active member is given important responsibility such as attendance and participation. When this member doesn’t fail to be responsible, they will get suspended from such team activities. Students, who take complete responsibility for the given work will carry out that in their future career.

  6. Respect for rules The outer world teaches your son and daughter the significance of following the rules and as parents you also want your children to follow certain rules. Rules are similar to responsibilities that can either make or break your career. If the particular rules are not followed, of course, there will be a penalty or punishment. 

  7. Conflict resolution When several people bind for common purpose there will be a rise for conflicts, because each people has different characters and will uniquely approach problems. This is very real for sports because of one people like one play and another like different play. So finally, for the team, the conflict resolution is a must to achieve success.

  8. Resume building One of the added advantages of extra-curriculum activities is the resume building. You can add this extra-curricular activity with your academics in job resume or college application. This will help you to show your skills and the work-play balance.
