  15. Eternal God, as our ancestors exchanged the glory of the Lord for the image of a golden calf, so we exchange the blessings of covenant relationship for temporal pleasures and seeming security. We exchange the intimacy of prayer—the gift of joy in Your presence—for the diversion of things and activities that can overwhelm us. （1/2）
