First day of my life, was stuck in a nest,Although rather warm, 'Twas hard to take rest.
For Poor mother chicken, Felt compelled to hatch me.But Stuffy and squished, I so want to be free!
At time I hatched open, and what a surprise! Two legs at the bottom, and the top-- two black eyes!
And soon I got fat, bigger than friend Cow,Then one awful day, they said "We want you now!"
Why to eat me for dinner,Those nasty old humans!I wish I were thinner, for my sake, to fool them!
