  1. Essential Items You Need In Your Study Space If you are studying at home, or in your student accommodation, having a dedicated study space is essential for staying on top of your assignments. A well-organised study space can make a real difference and enhance your productivity level. The perfect study space will be different for everyone, however, there are a few essential items you will need to maximize learning efficiency: Stationary Items Stay organised with all the stationary essentials. Pens, pencils, paper, sticky notes, staplers, and highlighters are all necessary while studying. Store your pen, pencil or other stationary in a desk organiser so you can study on a clutter-free table. Analyze how you study effectively, is it by writing your notes, highlighting your important notes in different colours, or sticking notes all over your study space as a visual aid? Always do what works best for you. Add a clock Upgrade your study table and stay on track with a light weight desk clock. Follow your study schedule and allow yourself to take a short break. It is more effective if you study for an hour and have a 10-15 minutes break, then repeat. Take a caffeine boost with a cup of coffee or tea, have a light stretch, or go for a 5 minutes walk – just remember to go back and continue with your studies. Use Headphones Headphones and soft music can improve your study habits and focus significantly. If you enjoy listening to music while you study, play your favourite play list to concentrate better and improve your overall productivity. Headphones are perfect when living in shared accommodation to not become a distraction to your peers, and vice versa. Be Comfortable

  2. No matter where you decide to study, make sure that you feel relax and comfortable. Make sure your chair offers the right back support that you need, and if you need to stand up, and walk around, do that too easily. Find out what works best for you, and what helps you concentrate better. Water bottle Staying hydrated while studying is important. Keep a water bottle on your desk to stay hydrated. Studies show that drinking water prior to your examination, and while studying can enhance your academic performance. The human brain is 80% water, and when you are well hydrated, you are able to think more clearly, improve your concentration power, and experience greater creativity and more clarity.
