  3. McMillan Theory Maintained that children need outdoor space as much as food and air. Reflected in the design of our centers with each room of opening into it’s own garden so no one is ever left waiting inside. Designed for each age specific group and gets kids outdoors.

  4. Her sister, Rachel, and herself opened an open-air nursery school in a deprived part of London in 1913. • Created the name nursery school. • Working along similar lines to produce her educational method

  5. Rachel McMillan Nursery School and Children’s Center was founded 1914 by sisters Margaret and Rachel. • Her and her sister are credited with the creation of nursery school.
