Find out when your registration window opens! • Login to “Eservices” • Click on “Courses and Registration” • Then “Registration Window” • Make sure you click the right semester • The date shown is when your registration window opens – or the first day you will be able to register
Checking for Registration Holds • Login into “Eservices” • Click on “Holds” • Be sure that there are not any holds on your account, they will prevent you from registering for classes.
How to find your advisor • Find your advisor by logging into “Eservices” • Clicking on “Courses and Registration” • Click on “View/Modify Class Schedule” • Your advisor is listed on the top of your class schedule, as well as your current major
Make an Appointment with your Advisor! • Email your advisor and ask for an appointment • Or go visit – most professors have an advising schedule on their doors– sign up for a time! GET YOUR ACCESS CODE
Review your DARS • In Eservices, click on “Grades and Transcripts” • Click on “Interactive Degree Audit Report” • Look for LASC categories that need to be filled • Core requirements for your major
Prepare for your Advising Appointment! • Arrive prepared with questions • Come with ideas of classes • Bring your schedule • Be flexible
When your registration window opens, REGISTER! • Placing courses in your course cart is not the same as registering • When your window opens, you will need to complete your registration • Be sure to do this ASAP!
Review Your DARS Again • Afterwards, the classes you registered for will show on your DARS • Check to be sure you filled the requirements!
Fun Fact: Access Codes • Steve Fox, the SN Area Director, says that if you bring him your access code from your advisor… HE WILL GIVE YOU CANDY!
