  2. Artist Retreat! Artist Retreat – Your mission is to create an artistic representation of some aspect of the novel. You may focus on the island, the beastie, one of the characters, etc., but be sure to spotlight the important details. • You might deal with symbolism or some other literary element, and you must be able to discuss the significance of both the item and your work. • Include as many details from the novel as possible. • Some examples include: • items such as a musical tribute to a character, • clay impressions, • poetry, • masks, • or any artistic medium. Obviously, artistic ability is a plus, but pieces will also be ranked on inclusion of relevant details. Good luck!

How do they go about achieving them? 18) Cite and explain evidence from Ch. 2-3 that could be used as indication of Simon representing Christ.
