What is the project? • The project is a trial to participate youth and adolescence to gain dialogue concept and skills for build bridges of dialogue and communication with their expected partners "husbands Or wives" believing in and supporting gender sensitivity, equality and respect.
The project concept • EFFD consider the project as an initiative to addressing violence against women concept, forms and stereotypes common among youth especially the expected partner.
Participants • we targeting about (70) youth and about (5o) of parents, all are citizens from Imbaba our focal aria. Imbaba is one of poorest area in Egypt with over population; most of it are youth. • on this consideration EFFD intensive its objectives and efforts targeting youth needs and participation.
Project implementation. • Conducting participatory workshops with youth "M&F" discussing number of rights based on gender sensitivity, equality, and dialogue and women empowerment within family power relation.
Project implementation • Conducting number of workshops focused on sexual rights and awareness as one of main gates to gain women rights as a step to stop domestic violence agonist women.
Project implementation. • Also providing workshops and seminars dedicated to discuss legal rights and discriminating laws against women especially personal statues laws.
Innovativeness • One of the project's activity is motivating youth to participate each other in issuing sort of "family code" promising to respect women rights "legal, social and sexual rights" in addition equality as basic rights of their becoming partners in family.
Sustainability • A percent of the youth participants become distinguish volunteers in EFFD, we believe that could help to keep their promises according to the code.
Sustainability • Also we have to consider them as focal point to other youth and their families, who could always keep advocating for equality and partnercipation in family.
