What is Junior Achievement? • The world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. • Serves students K-12 in Minnesota, North Dakota, and western Wisconsin • Local annual impact • 550 Schools • 6,500 Volunteers • 100,000+ Students

Elementary Programs • Six sequential themes for K-5 • Ourselves • Our Families • Our Community • Our City • Our Region • Our Nation • 5 lessons (30-45 minutes each) • Elementary program activities build on studies from each preceding grade and prepare students for secondary school and lifelong learning

  4. Middle School Programs • Three middle grade programs • JA America Works • JA Economics for Success • JA Global Marketplace • Six lessons (45 minutes each) • JA’s middle grade programs help teens make difficult decisions about how to best prepare for their educational and professional future.

High School Programs • Nine high school programs • JA Be Entrepreneurial • JA Exploring Economics • JA Banks in Action • JA Careers with a Purpose • JA Economics • JA Business Ethics • JA Success Skills • JA Company Program • JA Personal Finance • JA’s high school programs help students make informed, intelligent decisions about their future, and fosters skills that will be highly useful in the business world.

Capstone Programs • Hands-on curriculum and real-world simulations • JA BizTown – 4th-6th grade students run city for a day (in Maplewood, MN) • JA Finance Park – middle and high school students manage personal budget (in Maplewood or online!) • JA Titan – high school students run an online business (opportunities throughout the region)
