  3. springcharts • Verify that you meet the system requirements outlined in the download instructions • Verify that you have the correct version of Java • Instructions are provided in the Doc Sharing • Additional Instructions begin on page 5 of the HI125_EHR Text • Chapter 3 of HI125_EHR text provides detail on the functionality of Spring Charts

  4. Springcharts TECH SUPPORT • Springcharts is NOT supported by Kaplan Tech Support • If you have problems loading the software, you must call McGraw-Hill Technical Support at 1-800-331-5094. • Hours of Operation: • 8:00am – 11:00pm CST, Monday – Thursday • 8:00am – 6:00pm CST, Friday • 6:00pm – 1:00pm CST, Sunday • Can also seek help by going online to www.mhhe.com/support. • When calling McGraw-Hill tech support, they must indicate the following: • Kaplan uses the Demo Version of SpringsCharts • Operating System (Windows, Vista, etc) • If the problem cannot be fixed immediately, student should ask for a ticket number so that the instructor can follow up.

  5. Spring Charts Tech Support • If you get the following error when you try to open Spring charts: “The SpringsCharts Server requires files that are not locked (not-Read-only). Some of the files in the MUData Folder or the PtData folder were found to be locked. This usually happens when files are copied from a CD. Change the propertied of the files in these folders to “Archive” and Restart SpringCharts.” • You must “right click” on the SpringCharts Demo icon and select “Run As Administrator”

  6. Spring Charts Logging in • Username: demo • Password: demo • This information may already be entered in the username and password fields • Complete the SpringCharts Demo Guide
