Our task is to create a PowerPoint for our E-Portfolios answering the following question: Does a connection or relationship exist between the reactivity of a metal and when it was discovered?
Sodium (Na) and Potassium (K) were both discovered in 1807 by Sir Humphrey Davy. The fact that they were discovered at the same time and the same person shows you that there must be a connection and relationship between the reactivity of both metals.
The reactivity of Sodium and Potassium with water is a very big explosion because both of these metals are very reactive therefore an even bigger explosion will happen. Here is an example of sodium and potassium put with water: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_H-ONQFjpQ
