All Serious Crimes In February 2012 there were no reports of the following crimes viz: Murder, Attempted Murder, Suicide, Attempted Suicide, Arms & Ammunition, Causing Death by Dangerous Driving, Buggery, Kidnapping, Administering Poison, Unlawful Sexual Intercourse, Indecent Assault, Criminal Damage, Arson, and Arson

  4. All Serious Crimes Having reviewed the crime trend of February 2012, it can be shown that the amount of crimes that have occurred show a major decrease compared to that of February 2011.

  5. The hours at which Serious Offences occurred mostly for the month of February 2012, are 0200hrs, 0800hrs, 0900hrs, 1100hrs, 2100hrs and 2200hrs. • Serious offences occurred more often on Mondays for the month of February 2012.

  6. Assault Having reviewed the above Trend Graph for crimes involving Assault committed in Montserrat, when compared to February 2011, there were fewer crimes involving assault committed in February 2012.

  7. Assault There were Four (4) reports of Assault Two (2) occurred in the Cudjoe Head district Two (2) occurred in the Salem district One (1) occurred at St Johns One (1) occurred at Happy Hill One (1) occurred at Carr’s Bay One (1) occurred at Friths All are Under Inquires

  8. Burglary Crimes involving Burglary have been on a steady decrease for February 2012 and when compared to February 2011 it is significantly lower. As a result it remains under the Upper Control Limit.

  9. Burglary There were Two (2) reports of Burglary One (1) occurred in the Cudjoe Head District One (1) occurred in the Salem District One (1) occurred at Olveston One (1) occurred at Cavalla Hill All are Under Investigation

  10. Wounding There were Two (2) reports of Wounding Two (2) occurred at St Johns Under Investigation

  11. Theft Crimes involving Theft for the month of February 2012 have gradually decreased. However, in relation to crimes of Theft in February 2011 it is slightly higher. It is now within the Lower Control Limit region.

  12. Theft There were Three (3) reports of Theft Two (2) occurred in the Cudjoe Head District One (1) occurred in the Salem District One (1) occurred at Brades One (1) occurred at Davy Hill One (1) occurred at Flemings Under Investigation

  13. Robbery There were One (1) report of Robbery One (1) occurred at Cat Ghaut Under Investigation

  14. Attempted Robbery There were One (1) report of Attempted Robbery One (1) occurred at Brades Under Investigation

  15. Intelligence Reports submitted by Departments It is observed that Community Beat has produced 21Intelligence Reports followed by Task Force with 13 Intelligence Reports for the month of February, 2012. All officers are still asked to produce information which is more detailed so as to ensure that more effective searches can be conducted which in turn would lead to arrests and successful convictions at Court.
