Facilities ManagementSelf Service Work Request System • Enables campus community to submit and review work requests on-line • Includes automatic email routing to requestors and ASMs • Permits customers to review and approve pending work requests • Includes billing reconciliation reports for customers • Allows viewing of work order details • Improves speed of work request resolution • Improves communication between customers and Facilities Management • Reduces errors and delays because customers enter details directly and review them easily

  3. Work Request Life Cycle • Customer enters a work request online (or calls it in for FM Customer Service to enter it) and receives a confirmation email • FM Customer Service reviews the request and optionally sets the status to REQ_APPROV to send an email the so department approver can approve the request • FM Customer Service schedules the request as a work order • Work is done • Work Order is closed or set to be billed and this sends an email to the requestor and the department approver
