Ask Polygon, the Gal with all the angles. • Dear Poly, • I think I am a Square but other shapes keep making fun of me. The other day this mean circle called me a Rhombus. I don’t know what it means but I think it was an insult. I called her an oval and we had quite a fight. I know my sides are even so why am I not a square. • Signed, • Off Center Dear Off, Just because all your sides are even does not necessarily mean you are a square. Your angles have to all be 90 degrees. If not, I am afraid you are a rhombus, But don’t despair that is just a funny word for a type of parallelogram with even sides, nothing more.
