  5. Turn pages carefully from the top. Never turn down corners!

  6. . . . because a mouse could never manage to carry it home!

  7. At school library books should stay in your desk. If you take them home, carry them in your backpack.

  8. Animals should not borrow library books….

  9. . . . because a squid would get ink on the pages.

  10. Remember, don't write or color in thebook! And, keep your books away from little ones in your house!

  11. . . .because a squirrel would bury it for winter and forget where he put it.

  12. Keep your books in a safe place at home! Don’t let your pet dog, cat, fish, snake get near them!

  13. . . .most of all animals can’t borrow library books because there wouldn't be as many books for kids!
