The Facilitative Response Facilitation is viewed both as an art and a science. Most importantly, it should be viewed as a set of skills that can be learned and practiced. Although it is important to know facilitative techniques, the emphasis should be on the application of these skills in the context of genuineness and sincere caring.

Facilitative Responses Facilitative communication and responses involve a series of skills that can be learned and practiced. There are different types of facilitative responses, and although all are useful, some are more effective than others.
