BIODIVERSITY: Biodiversity is the variety and variability of life on earth.Itencompasses all forms of aquatic and terrestrial plants, animals and micro-organisms, their genetic materials and the ecosystem which they are part. It is important to us for our subsistence. So, biodiversity is a very important for the welfare of human being.

  3. DESCRIPTION: • Location: My home district is Naogaon which is situated in Rajshahi division . In order to assessing the current fish biodiversity of my locality, I went to my nearest market named “Nithpur Bajar” a famous fish market of Porsha thana.. • Infrastructure:The fish market is situated in an open place which is located at 2Km. from the upazilla complex. It is a rectangular shape market.The market is a tin shed building. There is a drain besaid the mànarket. There are 40 seat capacity for the fishseller. Every fishseller sell up to 20 kg fish in each place. The sit are made of concreat and there is acashbox with every sit. There is a thick road in the market. So the fishseller can easily sell there fish to there customer.

  5. Social Structure: A small village with the upazilla complex is around the market. Most of the people of our locality are middle class. The people of this villege depends on this market for there daily needs. Most of the people of this upazilla are middle class.Most of fisherman are very poor they earn their livelihood by catching and selling fish. The fisherman every day go to the river and catch fish and sell in the market. They pass their life through hard work. Fish marketing & selling system: Eveery day themarket start in the morning and runs till evening. In this market fish are being sold according to weight per kg.

  22. RECOMMENDATION: • The fish market is going well. Though the price of fishes are high but the people of this villege can by fish from this market. The amount and varity of fish is becoming low due to loss of biodiversity. So we should be aware of this fact. Some mesure should be taken to protect fish biodiversity • Water pollution should be undercontroll. • Over fishing should be stopped. • Training of GOs and NGOs should be held. • No pesticide should use in aquaculture system.

  23. CONCLUSION: • Most of the fish species are distinct today due to our activity.In the past there were a lot of species had been found in this market but some species are not found today due to loss of biodiversity.We must take some effective measurement to preserved our fish biodivesity.
