Fine Grained Labeling • The current fine grained labeling frame format was brought up at the IETF and IEEE 802 Leadership meeting last week with the objection that it uses 0x8100 with a different semantic than the 0x8100 Ethertype. • People seemed to be indicating that the use of a 16-bit quantity other than 0x8100 would solve this problem.
