Accounts – Significant Improvements • Finalized on quarterly basis • Already finalized for the period ended 31.12.2011 • Already initiated necessary action in respect of Consolidation of Accounts 2011-2012 • Quarterly claims from the Chapters have been regulated and the same being forwarded to HQ on timely basis. • Continuous Monitoring of Budgets Vs. Actuals • Full review of all segment of activities of the Regional Council is being carried out in every quarter
Internal Audit • Quarterly Internal Audit for the two quarters (2011) completed • Internal Audit for the third quarter ended 31.12.2011 in progress. • Internal Audit Reports along with the explanations are being sent to HQ on time • Compliances arising out of the Internal Audit Reports are being taken care of. • Internal Audit Reports are placed at every Regional Council Meeting along with explanations for deliberations
Internal Audit of the Chapters • Internal Audit of A,B, C and D Grade Chapters are reviewed • Review Reports are sent to HQ • Internal Audit Reports up to the period ended 30.9.2011 of all A,B and C Chapters received, reviewed and sent to HQ, excepting one chapter • Compliances on Internal Audit Reports are closely monitored.

Decentralisation of activities at the Regional Office – 2012 TIME FOR DECENTRALISATION • Regions are post offices and glorified chapters • Appropriate time since the Institute is growing in terms of Members and Students • Key word to success is decentralisation and delegation • Service to the doorstep of the stakeholder • Close monitoring is possible

Decentralisation of activities at the Regional Office – 2012 Suggested Areas • To permit Chapters to conduct Career Exhibitions with the approval of ICSI-SIRC with the Budget to be allotted to ICSI-SIRC for this purpose • Appointment of Staff at C & D Grade Chapters to be decentralized at the Regional Office level.
Decentralisation of activities at the Regional Office – 2012 Suggested Areas (contd…) • Recruitment of Staff for the other Chapters in the Region can be done through the Regions with a duly constituted committee comprising of Members from the Region and the HQrs – would help get local people who would be willing to join the service • Quarterly reimbursement of establishment expenses of C&D Grade Chapters to be Decentralised at the Regional Council level
AGENDA FOR 2012 • Getting good quality students • Brand Building • Imparting of continuous education to Members and Students • Focusing on the thrust areas for the decade and the goals set for 2011-14 as per the vision 2020 document
Brand Building Activities • Conducting Career Awareness Programmes in rural areas • Conducting talent search tests • Conducting competitions in schools/colleges and giving trophies • Display of banners/details of contacts in Colleges and Schools on a permanent basis not only when a programme is conducted
LIBRARY • To create exclusive Journal Section – 50 Journals • To create separate Section on Research Monographs, Papers, QPS • To create VCD Section on various management topics • To put up Library Display Board • To send monthly e-mail communication to all the Library Members in regard to latest additions to the Library
