Payment and forms can be turned in as you sign in. • Please take a packet, and have a pen or pencil handy as we will going over some important information. • Please check the phone chain and rooming assignments and let us know of any changes that need to be made before you leave tonight.

9. Transportation: Easton Coach Bus departs from North Penn 3 p.m. January 13 Bus returns to North Penn 11 p.m. January 16

11. Students are to store bags and equipment in a security-assigned location on Friday morning. Please make arrangements to drop off equipment before homeroom so security can check everything and students can board the bus and depart promptly after school Nothing goes on the bus without being inspected!

12. What to bring: The temperature for January 13-16 in Killington is expected to be between 25 and 33 degrees, with lows reaching about 15 degrees. However, weather can change! Please plan ahead and bring appropriate clothing for all conditions! GLOVES, COAT, SWEATERS, LONG-JOHNS, GATORS, FACE MASKS, LONG SLEEVE T-SHIRTS, HAND/FOOT WARMERS, SCARVES, HATS, GOGGLES Prevent Frostbite! BE PREPARED TO COVER ALL SKIN!!!

15. Don't forget money for rest areas & lunch on the mountain! We usually stop for a sit-down dinner on the return trip Sunday night!

16. Cell phones do not always work in the mountains! …so students will have to make a collect call or use a phone card.  There are no phone charges allowed from the hotel. Only room to room.

17. And now for some rules... Students who cause a problem or fail to follow the rules will be sent home at their parents' expense!

18. It should go without saying (but it won't)... North Penn Ski & Board Club & Banchi Tours run a drug- and alcohol-free trip!

20. OBEY SKI PATROL AT ALL TIMES!

21. Do not ski alone! Parents, please talk with your son or daughter about what level which he or ski should ski. Agree ahead of time on what slopes your student may ski, as chaperones will not be able to ski with all 43 students at once, so making the right choices on the slopes will ultimately be up to him or her. Chaperones will be communicating with students via walkie-talkies purchased by the club under Nancy Detwiler, so we are encouraging students to ski in groups so that a chaperone will always be able to be notified if needed. Do NOT ski alone! The Ski & Board Club presented a safety clinic at its first meeting, so club members should know how to classify themselves as skiers. Parents, please raise the issue with your students before the trip!

24. At curfew, chaperones will check that all students We WILL are in their own rooms. be taping Students who open doors! their doors or leave their rooms at any point during the night will not be permitted to ski the following day!

25. Important Announcements: Any students who need rentals should see me after this meeting! ALL students must turn in their medical permission forms! Please see me if you have any outstanding HOOF obligations! Remember — cell phones do not always work in the mountains! Please make sure we have your current phone number as we will call from the road if the bus is running late!

26. Know anyone else interested in skiing... Please continue to help out the North Penn Ski & Board Club! We have room for 2 more male students, or 3 more female students, to evenly fill all the hotel rooms we’ve reserved for this trip. If you know any students who might be interested, please see Mr. Swindells in room D-18 A.S.A.P.! $369 per person includes... Travel on Triple-D Bus Lines Breakfast, dinner & all hotel accommodations Three days of skiing!
