Background; The Field Artillery Tractor (FAT) was removed from the museum grounds to L1 where the body was removed from the superstructure/chassis. The chassis was sent to OJT Coy where the body was disassembled and continues to be sanded down and prepped for painting the CARC colour to match 25 pdr and limber. The chassis had the tires replaced and is moveable currently at L1 ready for sandblasting, the engine was removed as well as other parts and placed in tri-wall at OJT Coy. The plan was to once the FAT was rebuilt that 2 RCHA soldiers were to be the ones in control of the vehicle for driving and maintaining but the vehicle was to remain on the museum account and grounds except in the fall when the vehicle was to be removed and parked in the storage compound at 2 RCHA. Also a freestanding structure of the arbour type was to be built over the vehicle while at the museum to prevent any un-neccessarydeterioration.
