  3. Objectives for SGC Implementation • To emphasise the importance of non-academic areas. • To reinforce our larger educational objective of developing well-rounded students.

Requirements For Certification SGC would be issued to students who after graduating from the school, satisfy the requirements below • All students who have completed 10 years of general education; • Students who go on to pre-university will receive another certificate at the end of their pre-university education; • Students who enrol in a centralised institute will only receive the certification after 3 years.

  6. SGC and Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level certificate All full time graduated students in main stream schools will be issued the Singapore-Cambridge GCE ‘O’ Level certificate and the SGC.

SGC Design and Format There are four sections on the School Graduation Certificate (SGC): Section 1 : Basic information of the student Section 2 : “N” or “O” level results of the student Section 3 : Information on CCA, CIP and special achievements of the student Section 4 : Personal Qualities of the student. It is testimonial-like and is a qualitative assessment of the student in exhibiting the qualities of the Desired Outcomes of Education (DOE) Click for SGC
