Critical System Requirements • Web-Based, accessible from anywhere with a simple web browser. This should use .Net and SQL Server technologies. • Currently uses Silverlight, but this is being phased out • Having issues with Firefox that are being repaired as reported. • Internet Explorer yields best functionality. • Centralized, hosted. The system should be hosted on a county-wide or region-wide server.
Critical System Requirements • Countywide/Regional comprehensive. Allows for students from several or all districts in the county to be loaded on the system with student data accessible to all entities that provide education to a child. These entities include: • Special Education (Vision Committee looking at other products) • Career/Technical Education • Dual enrollment within a district • Transfer of records
Critical System Requirements • Complete. The system should have all of the basic SIS functionality expected • Accessible. The system should be easily accessible to import and export data from, integrate with other “Best of Breed” systems, and allow for easy custom report creation by end users.
