  7. FOR LDCs • WAIVERS OF OBLIGATIONS Undertake commitments and concessions consistent with their individual development, financial or trade needs Ensure that LDCs are not subjected to conditionalities on loans, grants and official development assistance

  8. For LDCs • DUTY FREE AND QUOTA FREE FOR LDCS BY DEVELOPED CTS AND THOSE DEVELOPING COUNTRIES IN A POSITION TO DO SO

  9. TRIMS New transition period, lasting seven years. Extension possible. • These new TRIMs shall be notified to the CTG no later than six months after their adoption. The duration of these measures will not exceed five years, renewable subject to review and decision by the CTG.

  10. TRIMS • Any measures incompatible with the TRIMs Agreement and adopted under this decision shall be phased out by year 2020.

  11. SMALL ECONOMIES • PARAGRAPH 35 OF THE DDA • IDENTIFY SPECIFIC MEASURES TO HELP SMALL AND VULNERABLE ECONOMIES INTEGRATE INTO THE MULTILATERAL TRADING SYSTEM • WORK CONTINUES IN GENEVA

  12. SMALL ECONOMIES • “… the CTD in Dedicated Session recommends that the General Council agrees that small economies are allowed to use such regional bodies to assist them in the implementation of their obligations under the SPS, TBT and TRIPS Agreements” .
