  3. universal (adjective) MEANING EXAMPLE • common to everyone or everything * • Although, different people show it in different ways, love is a universal emotion.

  4. catapult (verb) MEANING EXAMPLE • to cause something to rise forcefully and suddenly • If I kick the soccer ball hard, it will catapult into the goal.

  5. discarded (adjective) MEANING EXAMPLE • thrown away or abandoned • It was terrible to see a trail of discarded trash along the hiking trail.
