  1. Copper fundamentals Copper wire's initial use in telecommunications systems had a basic function. The wire was used to transmit only telephone conversations and telegraph messages. However, the same basic wire design and many of the same wires are being used to transmit signals in the form of an asymmetrical digital subscriber line 1:- Types of copper cable and uses We use U/A. Armoured and Aerial copper for Building connectivity. U/A copper 20pair, 50pair, 100pair, 200pair and 400pair. Armoured cable 20pair, 50pair pair 100pair and 200pair. Aerial copper copper 20pair, 50pair and 100pair. Unaromoured cable used through underground duct. Armoured cable used in cluster/direct burried connectivity. Aerial copper mostly used to connect building through Aerial connectivity. 2:- Colour code of copper cable 20pair copper :- This single bunch cable.Blue, orange, Green , Brown and Grey common with White colour for first 5pair. Blue, Orange, green, brown and Grey common with Red for next 5pair (6-10). Blue, Orange, green, brown and Grey common with Black for next 5pair (11-15). Blue, Orange, green, brown and Grey common with Yellow for next 5pair (16-20).

  2. 50pair copper :- There are 5bunch of 10pair copper. cable.Blue, orange, Green , Brown and Grey common with White colour for first 5pair. Blue, Orange, green, brown and Grey common with Red for next 5pair (6-10). All 10pair same colour code. 100pair copper :- There are 5bunch of 20pair copper. Same colour code as given for 20pair copper as above. 200pair copper :- There are 4bunch of 50pair copper. Colour code same as per given above as 50pair. 400pair copper :- There are 8bunch of 50pair copper.
