  2. Identifiers • Every object in DAR (Fedora) has a UUID,DOI and PID.UUID: random generated value has a seed of  time and  machine IP. This value is digested (md5) to produce the uuid • DOI: DOIPrefix/Handle (10678)+ UUID • PID: combination of source, type and value        Source can be: DAF;Other        Type:   Bib;Job;FNM;Coll;Oca;Ima;        Value: JobID, BibId...
