Body mass index. 何謂身體質量指數 (BMI) 身體質量指數( Body Mass Index )=體重 ( 公斤 ) ÷ 身高 2( 公尺 ) 肥胖的定義指的是一個人的身體質量指數 (BMI) 超過理想標準。所謂的身體質量指數,其計算方式為體重 ÷ 身高的平方,體重的單位為公斤,身高的單位為公尺,理想的 BMI 值為 20 至 24.9 kg/m2 , 25 至 29.9kg/m2 稱為過重,一旦指數超過 30kg/m2 即可算是肥胖。一般而言,身體質量指數大於 25kg/m2 已表示身體脂肪過多,需要減肥 !.

  1. Body mass index 何謂身體質量指數(BMI) 身體質量指數(Body Mass Index)=體重(公斤) ÷ 身高2(公尺) 肥胖的定義指的是一個人的身體質量指數(BMI)超過理想標準。所謂的身體質量指數,其計算方式為體重÷身高的平方,體重的單位為公斤,身高的單位為公尺,理想的BMI值為20至24.9 kg/m2,25至29.9kg/m2稱為過重,一旦指數超過30kg/m2即可算是肥胖。一般而言,身體質量指數大於25kg/m2已表示身體脂肪過多,需要減肥!

  2. 腰圍男性腰圍超過90公分(約35.5吋),女性腰圍超過80公分(約31吋),即可稱為肥胖腰臀比腰臀比(waist to hip ratio)=腰圍÷臀圍
