Educational Activities Department • Overview • A total of 20 positions make up EAD • 3 new positions were approved for 2008 • 5 unexpected vacancies occurred at the conclusion of 2007 • We are currently in the process of filling 3 open positions • Many people in EAD serve cross functions

Educational Activities Board Support • Rae Toscano, Sr. Manager EAB Administration • Karen Kleinschmidt, Sr. Administrator EAB and Awards support
Pre-University Education • Carole Levy, Director, Educational Outreach (joined IEEE on 2 January 2008) • Yvonne Pelham, Education Outreach Program Manager, provides support for many of our portals • Jennifer Callow, Projects Administrator (joined IEEE on 11 February 2008)
Women in Engineering Committee • Keyana Tennant, Program Administrator • WIEC reports directly to the IEEE BoD • Operational implementation of WIEC activities are carried out in Educational Activities • WIE became part of Educational Activities in April 2007
University Education • Director, University Programs • New position • Currently interviewing candidates • Carolyn Solimine, Sr. Administrator, Accreditation Activities (US accreditation • Sadiq Mitchell, Education Program Manager, University Programs (will join IEEE on 25 February 2008)
Continuing Education • Marsha Eileen Fitzgerald, Certification Director– new position (Eileen joined IEEE on 11 February 2008) • Director, Continuing Education and eLearning- will be filled in 2008 • Product Manager, Continuing Education and eLearning– currently recruiting for this position • Jennifer McClain, Standards Education Program Manager, new position (Jennifer will join EA on 19 February). She will also contribute to content acquisitions for Expert Now
