“The Word of….”. Words are very important. Words are used to influence and to teach false doctrine ( Prov. 2: 16; Acts 15: 24 ). Jesus is referred to as, “The Word” ( John 1: 1 ). God has used words ( Ps. 119: 11; Acts 13: 5; I Cor. 2: 13 ).

“The Word of….” Words are very important. Words are used to influence and to teach false doctrine (Prov. 2: 16; Acts 15: 24). Jesus is referred to as, “The Word” (John 1: 1). God has used words (Ps. 119: 11; Acts 13: 5; I Cor. 2: 13). A study of, “The word…” should provide us with a greater appreciation of the functionality of God’s word.
“The Word of….” “8: But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach” (Rom. 10: 8).
“The Word of….” “7: And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe” (Acts 15: 7).
“The Word of….” “7: By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left” (2 Cor. 6: 7).
“The Word of….” “3: Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands” (Acts 14: 3).
“The Word of….” “26: Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent” (Acts 13: 26).
“The Word of….” “19: To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation” (2 Cor. 5: 18).
“The Word of….” “12: For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. 13: For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe” (Heb. 5).
