This year we are serving: • 2,300 students • 37 schools • 6 counties • Impact on participants: • 70% report improved strength • 50% report an increase in self-confidence • 50% report a reduction in stress • 50% report practicing yoga outside of the classroom • 50% report improved concentration • 40% report an improvement in completing homework on time About The Wellness Initiative The mission of The Wellness Initiative is to improve the physical health, social and emotional development, and academic performance of low-income youth through yoga-based wellness programs.
