  2. What is Mission Kaleidoscope? • An award scheme for extra-curricular activities in junior forms.

  3. Why? • All-rounded student • 334 (OLE/SLP) • Posts System(No chops, No posts!) • Record of Mission Kaleidoscope is needed when applying posts in higher forms

  4. Awards • Class Awards • Bronze • Silver • Gold • Trophies / Certificates • Form Winner (3 students in each form) • $1000 Dr. Lam Chik Suen Scholarships(Highest level with most chops / The most outstanding performance in MK)

  5. 6 domains • Moral and Civic Education (德育及公民教育) • Community Services (社會服務) - F.2,3 only • Career-related Experiences (與工作有關的經驗) – F.3 only • Aesthetic Development (藝術發展) • Physical Development (體育發展) • Spiritual Development (靈性發展)

  9. How many chops? • Joining an activity Internal – One Chop External – Two Chops • Winning a prize – One more chop

  10. Moral and Civic Education • National Week (國民教育週 - MCES) • 國情教育工作坊 / 課程 /交流(MCES或校外機構) E.g. (1) MCES (eclass) -「祖國情。師生愛」的學生徵文比賽, (2) 苗圃行動【助學零錢】的義工計劃, (3)國民教育領袖培訓課程, (4)電影欣賞, (5)中國考察 • 中文活動組(電影欣賞, 好書分享, 中文講座,徵文比賽)

  11. Community Services • Social Services -Flag-selling, Visiting the elderly... • Helpers of School Functions - Open Day, Speech Day, Sports Day... • BBBS(F.3) • Uniform Groups

  12. Career-related Experiences • Talks / Lectures / Activities related to careers (Career Team or external organization) F. 1 Lunch Time Program, Visit University or Company • Study Trips • Monitor / Subject helper • Class Association-1 more chop can be get (base on performances) • Under the post system of NAD (any post in section / committee)

  15. Spiritual Development • Worship during Morning Assembly (2 Terms) • Christian Fellowship (團契) • 穌歌之王 • 奮興會 • Gospel Week(褔音週) • Activities organize by Christian Fellowship • Book Sharing / Book Report (submit to your Form Teacher)

  16. How does the school know? • After you attended internal activities, teachers/students-in-charge will submit your records. • For external activities, find Ms. Ng (6/F Staff Room) or Ms. Chow (3/F Staff Room) to get a form.

  17. How many chops do I get? • Go to http://www.editgrid.com/user/lwmssmk/mk • Will be updated first week of every month. • You may also check your class board. • PA announcement for best-of-the-form student.

  18. MK Report • Will be issued twice (mid-term and end-of-term). • Necessary when you apply for posts in senior forms!

  19. FAQ • If your chop did not appear, try to politely remind the teacher-in-charge to give the record to school. • Ask Ms. Ng Shan Shan (6/F) or Ms. Chow Shuk Man (3/F) for other questions.
