Introduction The Center for Intelligent computing and Robotics (CICR) is focused to do research and development of systems related with artificial intelligence, informatics and robotics looking that students and researchers make relevant enterprises of their research to improve the technological development of our region and country. Research Chair Optimization and Logistics • Goals: Application of Evolutionary Computation, Neural Networks, Simulated Annealing, and related technologies to Logistics and Optimization problems • Projects: • Cutting stock and packing problems • Routing and distribution problems • Forecasting problems • New and improved algorithms that require less user intervention • New and improved algorithms to for very large problems CICR
Research Chair Robotics • Goals: Design and integrate electromechanical devices with electronic components like sensors and controllers including intelligent software in the context of unmanned vehicles for land , air and water. • Projects: • Heterogenous Robots for Emergency Support • Navigation and Control of scale airplanes and helicopters • Analysis, Architecture, and Fusion Methods for Vehicle Automation • Navigation using 3-D Inertial Sensing, • Local and global teleoperation and control CICR
Research Chair Context Intelligence • Goal: Develop innovative technology oriented towards distributed knowledge handling, both in the open internet and inside organizations, using the "Intelligent Agents" paradigm. Projects PDLib: Personal Digital Library PDLib is part of the Research Chair on Wireless Communication and Mobile Computing. The project has been supported previously by grants from CONACyT and CUDI. Objetives: PDLib proposes a universally available personal digital library system. In PDLib we integrate research on mobile computing, personalized services, database services and wireless communication. CICR
