  2. JOHN Boyne IS A FAMOUS IRISH WRIter who WROTE THE STORY ‘THE BOY IN THE STRIPPED PYJAMAS’. HE WAS BORN IN DUBLIN IN 1971 AND HE STUDIED ENGLISH Literature IN TRINITY College Dublin AND CREATIVE WRITING AT EAST Anglia, Norwich and was awarded the Curtis Brown prize.

  3. He wrote many short stories in his time roughly around seventy of them. Then in 2006 he wrote his novel ‘the boy in the striped pyjamas’ it was a made into an award winning mirmax film. Then the novel won two Irish book awards.

  4. The book lasted more than eighty weeks At number one in Ireland and was also the best selling book in new york and Spain. The book sold more than five million copies. John also published his novel in forty two different languages.

  5. These are some of john’s novels: John’s eight novel was called ‘Noah barelywater runs away.’ His aim was to make this book for young readers. It was published in October 2010. this book also reached number one in the best seller chart in Ireland. It was voted children’s book of the year too. John’s ninth novel, THE “ABSOLUTIST” will be published in the UK in May 2011.

John was born in Dublin and raised there and he is now going to celebrate his 40th birthday on April 30th john has now became a very well known writer all over the world especially in spain and France the novel the boy in the striped pyjama’s was the book that made him where he is today. But john does have a lot of famous novels as you have already made a list of them above
