  3. PERSONAL INFO ABOUT HER Name: Sacagawea Bithdate:1788 Birth place: Lemhi county Death:1812 Occupation:translater

  4. Accomplishments • She led Lewis and Clark toward the pacific ocean. • She rescued items which belonged to Lewis and Clark that had fallen out a capsized boat such as: journals and records of what they had found

  5. challenges • She had to risk the chance of her infant son named Jean-Baptist dying or getting sick. • The chance of her getting sick. • The chance of loosing her son from being taking away from her.

  6. fun facts • Sacagawea was 16 years old when she had her infant son the same day she was sent out for the expedition for Lewis and Clark. • The expedition lasted at least 16 months which crossed 1/3 of what is now the united states. • She was captured and sold to a Mandan Toussaint Charbonneau
