Where it lives It is found in North Africa and the Middle East. It prefers a dry climate and makes its home in natural burrows or under stones.
What it looks like They look like little lobsters and they carry their curved tails above their heads. It’s only a medium-sized scorpion. The Death Stalker scorpions are different colors depending on where they live.
How it kills When a scorpion spots a victim, it will grab it with its claws, using its venomous tail stinger only if prey is large or resists being eaten. If a human is stung by a scorpion, the usual symptoms are swelling, numbness, and often coma or death. It’s body has narrow weakness.
Interesting Facts The smaller the pincers the stronger the poison. A female is larger then the male so she can reproduce. Venom from the Death stalker scorpion is used for treating brain growths in human beings.
