  3. Content • Teaching Listening – Grades 10 & 11 • Teaching Speaking – Grades 10 -11 • Design classroom activities • Some tools for more effective teaching • Designing power point slides

  4. Activities Discussion Group work: designing, presentation, leading activities Case studies Games Songs Stories

  5. Warm-up Activity • Write a series of numbers, show them to other people. They will try to guess what the numbers are about. Tell them if they are right or wrong. • For example: 351 • 1783 • 8 • 96

  6. Common Problems in Teaching Listening Work in groups, write a list of problems you have when teaching Listening
