What features of A tube assemblies are relevant? • A tube assemblies offer: • 1,2,4,7,10,12,19, 24 LFZH tube bundles • with or without glass reinforcement of sheath • stripe colouring of sheathing is available for system identification • 5/3.5mm primary tube size options which are suitable for 12 fibre bundle installation • 8/5mm primary tube size options which are suitable for up to 18 fibre bundle installation and 3 x 12 multiple fibre bundle

A fibre bundles will operate within all network protocols listed in the Statement of requirements: • 2,4,8,12 fibre bundles fully qualified for operating temperature range of -40 °C to +60°C • G652 and G652c options • 50/125, OM2 Multimode fibre based on Infinicor 600 • 50/125, OM3 Multimode fibre based on Infinicor SX+ • 62.5/125 OM1 Multimode fibre based on Infinicor 300 • Hybrids of any combination of fibres within the bundle

A, all components of the fibre and tube management system have • successfully undergone 70g shock testing in Rosyth Naval Dockyard in February 2004 with continuous data streaming during shock • space efficient and functional design • been deployed on Type 45 destroyer • pigtails and patchcords will be sheathed with the same material as tube assemblies.
Installation and testing • Verification, testing and calibration procedures have been developed to ensure installation is suitable • Full training can be provided for performing the installation or alternatively a Certified Installer can be supplied
