  2. SEAC4RS Education and Public Outreach • HQ (Steve Cole) leading SEAC4RS EPO/PA effort • First EPO planning telecon: February 8, 1PM Pacific • Main NSERC personnel supporting SEAC4RS EPO effort • Science and Education Coordinator (Emily Schaller) • Media Specialist/Videographer (Jane Peterson)

NSERCSEAC4RS EPO Activities • Pre mission • Collaborate with HQ and other NASA centers to write mission overview article • Provide pictures and video of instrument integration • During mission • Science and Education Coordinator and Media Specialist will travel to Thailand for ~10 days • Write status updates and provide video footage for SEAC4RS website and other nasa.gov portals • Social Media • Maintain SEAC4RS mission blog • Write posts and encourage first-person contributions from scientists and students in the field • Q+A with scientists/pilots/others • Twitter • Frequent tweets before, during and/or after flights • NSERC EPO personnel on xchat during mission will enable rapid tweeting of events • On camera interviews with scientists and video footage of and from aircraft for mission documentary • Post mission • Production of SEAC4RS video documentary • Documentary will be posted on NASA Airborne Science website, presented at NASA booths at national/international conferences, and DVDs distributed to PI’s
