  3. MHSLearn Help Desk • If you have any technical problems with the site please call : • 1-800-600-9332 then hit the #3, this will take you to the MHSLearn help desk

  4. THINGS YOU NEED TOO KNOW • 1. I (The HIPAA Officer) do not need a copy of your certificate. • 2. Print your certificate and place it in your CAF folder or give it to the clinic or administrative section you will be working in • APEQS can take an additional business week to update, if it has not updated after this please call me for further assistance

  5. When you reach the site click here.

  6. Click okay

  7. Note: Do not click on the CAC access Button we will not be using the CAC process even if your CAC card is in use. No Clicking Click the “If you don’t have a CAC, Click here” Button.

  8. Click OK

  9. Click Okay

  10. Make sure you run the check browser compatibility before you register, especially on your home system!!!

  11. You want to see all Blue checks and green flags. Any red “X’s” call the help desk to get the item corrected 1-800-872-6482 DSN 421-3300 (Home users you can call Mr. Avant 719-526-7046 for limited support).

  12. Click here to register

  13. After review, click next

  14. Type in your SSN with the dashes

  15. Ignore this page!!! Simply click next

  16. Enter you name

  17. The E-mail ADDRESS MUST BE MILITARY either AKO or AMEDD. If you do not have a military account please use the following: edward.avant@amedd.army.mil

  18. Follow below to fill in appropriate boxes: Don’t check International user (unless you are an international user) Telephone: cell is good. DSN: don’t put anything. Birth Month: select month. SSN: follow template Foreign National ID: don’t put anything (unless you are a foreign national) Service or agency select: ARMY-A

  19. Click the flashlight

  20. Type in 0032

  21. CLICK Flashlight

  22. Click Select

  23. For Duty Status select the appropriate status, students select civilian volunteer. Military select the appropriate rank

  24. Select the most appropriate job position for what you do, this is the course work. Do not select not applicable. If you are unsure select support services

  25. Click Flashlight

  26. Type in 0032

  27. Click Select

  28. Click Flashlight for job role

  29. Select the most appropriate role, don’t worry if it is not exactly what you do

  30. Scroll down and click okay

  31. Follow procedures for the password, and password challenge then click next to complete the registration process.

  32. Once you are done registering the program will take you to the home page select play and wait for the first module to load.

  33. Security Pop Up boxes • If you get a pop up box asking you about the security of the site click on the “yes” button quickly. • You may also get a pop up box asking you if you want to run the program/process, • again just click on the “run” button quickly • Not clicking these items if they appear, will prevent the program from running correctly.

  34. Do Not Click on anything in the outline • 1. Use only the Right arrow key in between each module • When you click on a item wait a few seconds before you click again especially if you have a slowwwww computer. • 4. Read all instructions carefully

  35. Do not Click on anything in the topic menu Use just the next key, and wait after each click for the slides to change. This will ensure you sequentially move through each slide! There is a test at the end of each module You must pass all 5 of these tests to complete the course How many pages in this module

  36. At the end of each module you will have to exit the module here.

  37. Do Not Click on anything in the outline Use the right Arrow key to move to the next module. You will use this process for all 5 training modules.

  38. 2. Once you are done simply click on the flashing icon to print your certificate 1. When you are done all circles will be clear! In order to print your certificate you must be done with all 5 training modules.

  41. From the home page click on the profile tab.

  42. Select transcripts

  43. Click on the certificate

  44. Click on the: Print MHSLearn Certificate

  45. Click Print

  46. Select your printer and print your certificate!
