  5. Times Square- the entertainment centre of NYNew Year´s Eve in Times Square

  6. The Empire State Building- the most famous skyscraper in NY- it was built in 1931- 102 floors

  7. The Statue of Liberty - a gift from the people of France

  8. - it stands on Liberty Island

  9. - You can get a ferry to the island

  10. The World Trade Center- it was destroyed in the terrorist attacks on 11 September 2001

  11. Wall Street- the world financial centre (NY Stock Exchange)

  12. Macy´s- the biggest shop in the world

  13. Yellow taxi cabs
